This 1,500 acre property, nestled along the banks of the Canadian heritage Grand River, has cultural and natural landscapes which include farm fields, meadows, Carolinian forests and wetlands, a 9 acre island, two cemeteries, and remains of the former town of Indiana. An 1840’s Greek revival mansion is filled with original family furnishings and possessions and many stories which chronicle each of the five generations of the Thompson family.
Hours of Operation:
Summer: open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Saturday & Sunday 9:30am-4:30pm
Winter: open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. (Closed for two weeks between Christmas and New Year’s)
