The Widows Sons Motorcycle Riders Association of Ontario – South Coast Chapter – is holding a Fundraising Ride for Camp Trillium – Rainbow Lake, Waterford and Prostate Cancer Research.
The ride starts and finishes at the Oakland Masonic Centre, 5 King Street North, Oakland, ON N0E 1L0
Registration is at 9:00 a.m. The ride will start at 10:00 am. The 2-1/2 hour ride will travel through picturesque Haldimand & Norfolk counties, returning to the Oakland Masonic Centre where lunch, refreshments, draws and prizes will be provided.
Camp Trillium – Rainbow Lake, provides a summer camp atmosphere for children and their families suffering from cancer. The camp is located in Waterford Ontario and does not receive government funding. It relies on the support of public and corporate donations.
Prostate Cancer affects 1 in 7 men during their lifetime. Prostate Cancer Canada supports both research into prostate cancer as well as those suffering from prostate cancer. The organization also provides public awareness and education about prostate cancer.
We are looking for support from our communities to raise as much money as possible for these two charitable organizations. The participants pay to participate in the ride, and collect pledges to support the ride’s charities. We are seeking donations to provide ride participants with refreshments and prizes. Any assistance you can provide to offset our costs would be sincerely appreciated.
